I definitely think so! I went back and forth for months. Its easier, has more functions/programming, and isnt that much more vs a panel plus all the switches and wiring, plus whatever your time is worth.

How does it wire up that makes it so much easier?

I don't fully understand. Pretend you are talking to a 5 year old. I hate wiring.

one control unit under the hood (your main unit/fuse block) then a small bundle of 4 wires in a nice loom to go into the cab, thats it. you get 8 switches vs 6 with the OTRATTW setup. has strobe, flash, momentary, and master switch programming.

check a few pages back, I have some pics how its hooked up. stupid easy.

Is it remote?? You don't have to go through the fire wall?

no you do, with just 4 wires, regardless of how many lights/accessories you have.

That may be worth it to me then. The 4runner is really hard to get through the fire wall.

Wired remote but also has a Bluetooth option! Also, circuit protection is programmable. Lots a great customization

thats one of the reasons I took so long deciding. but when pricing out a switch panel with just 6 switches that couldnt do half the stuff the SwitchPro does.. the price difference wasnt that much.

Yeah. After all my switches, I'll have to put about 150 bucks into buying them, then wiring is a nightmare...

Can it run a winch in out switch?

its not recommended.. because of the draw.. but it may be possible. some others were talking about that. I would say stick to mechanical switches for that. thats my plan. leave the Switch Pro for lighting and low draw accessories. also leaves me my sunglasses holder for OTRATTW switches for future goodies like air, winch, etc.

Yeah. I'm thinking Alley lights, roof light bar, bumper light bar, rear lights... That is it for those... Then air compressor, rear locker, winch.

gorgeous bezel. just like in my dreams. i just went the single DIN switch route plus the RTMR fuse/relay box or I'd be in for this. Might still get one if I can think of more switches for it.

    appreciate it man!

ahh nice! those fuse boxes are nice! I would go that route too if I didnt already have the Blue Sea. Although.. with the SwitchPro.. a fuse block isn't needed ;)

Damn, that's nice. I like  X2 on the clean and stock look.

This is the thing that I've been looking for that's holding me back from installing mine.

So the switch panel itself snaps into that part, and as a whole unit it would snap into place wherever you cut a pattern out, ex. shifter console etc?? If that's the case sign me up for one haha.

Any chance of having a cut out template ones you start making these?

    Thanks.

yes sir! just cut out the opening, pop in the bezel, then snap in the switch panel from the bottom.

I already have a stencil made  needed one for myself anyways :) lol

the second revision is finished. its better, still made some changes and am going to print a third, and use that for test fit.

I do have to send my Switch panel in, as I am unable to solder it. They said a day turn around though! sending it out tonight, should have it back end of the week at the latest hopefully. SO.. things might be on hold a bit.

    Alright guys.. Some progress.

Gonna tackle it again tomorrow after some changes. (New bezel is printing now).

Used a stencil made from the bezel for the opening to cut. Everyone will get one of these too. I centered it based off the holes I already had, traced, and cut with a dremel cutting wheel, then cleaned up the corners and edges with a sanding wheel. Came out good, a TAD larger than I wanted, but still a super snug fit. If you keep to the inside of the line you trace, you'll be golden ( I split the difference). Overall, easy and good fitment..

    20160419_145728.jpg
    20160419_145954.jpg

Now.. For the bezel.. It fits in great.. But once it's in the console, there isnt enough room to flex the ABS of the bezel to snap the switch panel in. I ended up needing to almost completely remove the 4 little lock tabs. Once in place, it was very snug and the panel does not feel weak or like its going to push out the bottom.

The biggest issue is the curvature of the console itself. You can see the gap. This is one of the issues I am trying to fix on this new revision. We will see tomorrow how it fits.

Overall. Happy with it. Just needs some fine tuning.

Seriously impressed! It's going to look great in black or even painted to match interior trim. Overall a much more finished OEM appearance.

The only way I can think to combat the gap is to slightly sand the contour on the underside lengthwise unless you have something else up your sleeve?
