@GHOST SHIP With your fix I'd suggest moving the plate till the bottom bolts line up and make the upper 4 bolts a bigger as you need. The top latch plate acts as giant washer so won't have worries of make the hole too big. Unless moving it up too much makes your top stick out past the seats.

Thanks! I thought of that as well. I want to make sure I can get everything lined up before I start cutting it up and ruining a perfectly good panel! I'll take a closer look at it once I get out of work. Want to be as minimally invasive as possible.

They look good! But it's just sitting there and not bolted up yet. I'll have a better report for you later today.

Bad news folks- the panel is not a direct fit for the AC. Mounting holes are different (not a big deal to drill new holes) for the seat back brackets/ headrest mounts. The big difference is the lower child safety restraints. On double cabs they are vertical and placed further outboard. On access cabs, they are closer to being centered and are angled at about 45 degrees. The support ribs for the back wall are in the same location for both body styles though so that should give @docloco a starting point if he decides to proceed with designing a panel for you AC guys. One other small difference that was noted was that the plastic trim panels for the rear corners of the cab do not have the small cutout that is present in DCs. One more thing to note is that since the AC back seat does not fold down, installing this panel would basically mean deleting the back seat completely or at least making an already uncomfortable seat even more so if you ever plan on stuffing someone back there.

Big thanks to @james Daniel for tearing his truck apart so we could make this comparison.

Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. There have been a few people that expressed interest in buying one so hopefully you can recoup some funds.

Oh no, my panel is going in my truck! :D So there's no loss for me. I just have someone with an AC that I can count on to help a brotha out. @james Daniel is good people like that. That's the good thing about this site. We help each other whenever we can. Thanks again doc!

Could be worse, first i bolted the driver side seat latch and noticed that the passenger side was not lining up so I adjusted and adjusted and couldn't get it to work so instead I got all the lower bolts in and marked where I needed to trim for all the upper bolts. Im guessing most will have the same issue, its real close but needs about 1/8-1/4 to fit correctly. Ran out of daylight so called it quits after marking where I need to trim, ill try to get it finished tomorrow

Another point to contend with on the AC is that the Cab pressure/check valve is located in the middle of the bulkhead. @ryanjboutin was commenting on how much road noise that let in when he removed his "useless" rear seats. Just something to think about.

Got mine prepped for paint. Sanded the smooth surfaces using a long block and 80 grit and rounded off all the sharp edges. Super happy. Need to finish sound deadening install and it can go in for the last time. Turns out you were right @UssMoGn ! With a little more time and daylight I bolted the panel to the truck using the 4 lower holes and then saw where I needed to enlarge the upper holes. Used a unibit and went to 1/2". Fit like a glove now. No need to trim the lower portion anymore.

It's actually kind of amazing how much fits back there without the plastic cubbies.
