MPG thread.

Haha I love you guys. I'm gonna add to my truck eventually. I'm sure after 3 fill ups I'll care less about mileage

 

It'll change as the engine breaks in anyway so why not just mod away!!

 

One thing I've noticed that sucks about being in the slow lane and having a small truck with a light back end is how poor the surface quality is on the freeway in those lanes, due to all the big rigs. I've had a few scary instances of feeling like my back end was going to spin out. A couple sandbags in the back helps, as does airing down a little. But then you start hurting your MPG....you just can't win!

At the end of the day it's a truck, never going to get comparable mileage to your Civic. Honestly, low 20's is pretty good for Tacomas.

 

I never understood why everyone gets so hyped up about MPG. Are you burning too much fuel on the way to the welfare office or tampon store?

 

Or it's just my 40 minute commute to the bio-pharmaceutical company where I earn my living. I don't think the welfare folk can afford a new 2016 even with their theft of those who work to earn our living! 'Merica!

 

I am sure they pay you enough to not worry about the financial burden of 5 less MPG.
