I can't find any new info on the loop. Lots of rain lately. We may have some rough spots. Since I'm stock and a noob. I'll hang in back and turn around when I need to. But I'm still up for it.

Being that this will be our first time on this trail, I think we should stick to the path in the youtube video I posted earlier.

If everyone is in agreement, here is the plan I propose.

7:30am - We meet at the Snow Mountain Smoke Shop / Gas Station of US-95 @ Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd. (11515 Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89124)

8:00am - Depart north on the 95 for 6.5 miles and exit left onto Lucky Strike Mine Rd (dirt road)
    - Here we can air down our tires and do any last minute checks

We will head West on Lucky Strike Mine Rd following the power poles. This road will take us to the top of Angel peak where the observatory is located.

When we get to the peak, we will hop on the asphalt for brief moment.

We can head to the observatory and check it out, have some snacks, and take a break and take in the views.

After, we will head back down the asphalt and fine Wooden Pole Powerline Rd. nearby.

Powerline Rd will take us down the mountain to the 157.

From here we can head home or if time permits check out some of the other dirt roads on the other side of 157.

These trails are easy to find on Google maps if you want to do some research before.

Lucky Strike Mine RD @ 95

    Powerline Rd @ 157

I will have a recovery strap and HAM radio just in case.

Does that sound good to you guys?

Didn't get a chance to say goodbye, thanks for taking us to the dunes park instead. Had lots of fun. We made it to the hill, I have some pics I'll be posting soon.
