    hey guys,
found a jdm 3.4 engine i was looking to purchase, i just rebuilt mine at 200k and it runs fine. Just looking for a back up motor.

Just curious if theres a different bolt pattern on the 3.4 for auto and manual. The one im looking at was an automatic, will my r150f bolt up to it?

    thanks,
please dont tell me to research haha thanks!

Right now I'm in the process of swapping a jdm 3.4 auto into my truck. There shouldn't be any different on the bolt pattern, just gotta swap over flywheel. What I found was oil filter location is different but there is a slot to relocate to correct location as usdm. Also alternator bracket is different and you'll have to swap over all 3 intake manifold since it doesnt have one of the vacuum port fitting and you'll reuse all accessories.

Ahh I got ya, the one I'm purchasing has all the accessories already mounted! You have measured out the bell housing mounting holes and they are the same?

Does the crank have provision for a pilot bushing in all of the cranks, or is there a manual specific crankshaft ?
