Anyone know of a shop who can build a simple custom flatbed for my 15' DCSB? I am in the DFW area, and everywhere ive called said they only do 1/2 ton and up....

Have you checked the Houston BS thread? Might be a bit of a drive but they may have some ideas.

@SMKYTXN might be able to offer some advice or you could check his flatbed build thread. I've seen his and one other a guy in FL did and it's more complicated than it looks and is not something you want to pay a first timer without fistfuls of money to throw at them.

Dang i need to check in more often in the Texas threads...

I am in Murphy, and work in Rockwall...So I am near by!

That aint no lie right there!

If only they made the UTE Canopy for a tacoma!

End goal is for versatility and utility. I love flatbeds (have had many 1tons with flatbeds) and their versatility. Wont be doing any crazy rock crawling in my PeeRunner mainly at the local malls :D but this thing will see some campsites and a lot of football tailgating. When I had my last 1ton I was able to bolt a lot of my useful stuff to the bed and it worked well for me. I dont need anything crazy, and I absolutely looooooooooooove this bed, and if I could get something like this, that would be damn perfect for my usage. I have moments where I want a bed cap or tonneau cover, but then I remember how much I loved my flatbeds and keep thinking how nice it would be to have one.

It was a pretty simple build.TBH. I'd offer to build ya one but I have no idea what my schedule is like coming up lol. Feel free to save the pics and take it to a local fabricator and copy it if you want.
