    Noobie here,

Can someone recommend a complete leaf spring package for me for the following requirements?: (leaf, shackles, ubolt, sua, etc..)

-Ability to utilized the full 12" shock travel
-Not too rough of a ride empty
-Carry 100-200 lbs on weekdays (work equipment)
-Carry 300-600 lbs on weekends (1 to 2 dirtbikes)
-Tow small jetski trailer couple times a year

    Appreciate the help,

    Evan

Oh....Dude, your asking for what doesn't exist lol. Either you can haul shit in the bed (600lbs) or you can have a plush ride. Not both. Once the expo's are broken in, keep a couple hundred lbs in the back and the ride is nice and smooth. I literally carried around a box full of rocks and sand for like 6 months just so it would be nice and smooth in the back. Once I got rid of that and had just an empty bed, it was pretty rough.

Look into the Total Chaos Mid travel SUA setup but 14s are suggested and run the heavy duty Deavers.
It is possible to fit them under the bed without punching through but a space saver or cross support would be recommended.
I was researching this setup for awhile, call Pat at TC and look at the builds on their page to see it. I believe the 2013 build has the setup. The Morroco taco uses the DMZ kit but that will require 16s and going into the bed.

Lots of homework to be done, good luck.

I just ordered some 14" short body 7100's to pair up with this kit. I'll be able to get a little more down travel out of these shocks than with 12"kings, just another option for people looking to do something different. Im thinking this would be a good option for the guys with springs that aren't the limiting factor on their down travel.

    kings 12" x 2.0 specs: collapsed 19.585" extended 31.585''

    bilsteins 14" x 2.0 specs: collapsed 19.45'' extended 33.84''

Depending on leaf pack you may need to remove the rear clamps and do a shackle fip to get that droop.

oh I'm spring under, this shock just suited my application the best for this specific shock relocation I'm switching to. Bilstein had them in stock and are custom valving them for me, i'll keep the updates flowing once my shocks and u-bolts get here.

yeah I'm taking quite the hit on down travel but its alright i won't notice much of a difference because I've had the dmz kit and 16''s strapped to work with the stock rear brake lines lol i busted an extended line a few years ago and put the stockers back on and never went back and replaced the extended line. Truck is still smooth as butter in the desert even when not utilizing all the down travel the dmz kit has to offer.

Any other options? I would really like to stay under $1000 for the leaf setup. I researched SUA but its a little out of my price range. And the 63 chevy is probably way stiffer than I would like.

    Thanks,

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Air helper springs there is no way you can get a soft ride with no load and put 600 in the bed without being on the bumps.

Anyone tried a double bypass with this kit. I'm going to be ordering shocks tomorrow and would like the double bypass if they will fit.

You would need like a 3.5 back spacing and 1.5" wheel spacers to fit them at full stuff most likely.

Not necessarily, if you got 2.5 bypasses with remote resi (to reroute them out of the way) and made the tube configuration so that there were on the sides, which King or Fox will probably do if asked, then it would be the same as running a 2.5 smoothie, which people do without rubbing

Finally got around to taking some pictures. I pushed the shocks as far forward as possible.

No, but it was nice for me cause I was doing frame plates and a shackle flip as well.
Made everything just easier to get at and allowed 2 of us to work at the same time.

    But, it's not needed.
