First off, I'm 56, I'm old, I like white letters. I'm thinking about putting white letters on when these tires wear out. Has anyone else done this and if so what tires did you buy? I need something a little more aggressive, I'm tired of spinning in the driveway at camp.

I see a lot of Tacos with white lettering. My Bridgestones have white lettering, but I opted to put them on the inside because I thought that most go with plain black. I started to notice a lot of trucks with the white, and regret my decision.

And yes, I am old too. Fuck, even older than you, hotrod!

Yes, all off roads have them out when new, that's why I thinking it won't be too noticeable to the "purists". I guess when you think about it, my badging is still on, nothing is plastic dipped, and I still have stock wheels, I already stick out.....lol.

If you put the white letters out, you need to keep them clean. Too much work for me.

I'm old too. I put the white letters out cause I like the way they look. ^^^ You don't have to clean the letters.

Mercerc, those are the exact tires that I was considering next. Although I am quite disappointed in the Cooper car tires. I've had issues with slipped belts causing growling noises and their 80,000 mile tires lasting 25,000. My tire dealer tells me that is the norm with everyone now. I showed them, I bought Continental tires the last time.... they're quiet but just my luck, wore even worse.

    I have a DCLB too, I guessing you're lifted a bit?
