    CalTrend Dura-Plus Canvas Seat Covers

Has anybody tried fitting these non leather seat covers on a 2016 tacoma
I dont like leather seats and wonder if these may be worth trying.

seems strange no one seems to have tried these that has noticed. Seems most folks are obsessed with Clazzio and Wet Okole. I tried the Clazzios and they raise the seat too much and I learned I dont really like leather. I checked out some friends seats that were leather and just a few years old and they get kinda gross in my opinion and I dont like the way they feel.

People do have them.. maybe not on 2016 yet.

They last a few years but generally don't wear as well as the other brands you mentioned, but they're twice as expensive than these, so..

People like Clazzio because they look nice but aren't Katzkin expensive. People like Wet Okole because the neoprene fabric is easy to clean, and suits the active lifestyle most have or at least pretend to.

Hum, I didnt see them as twice as expensive... about the same as Clazzio... assuming you get the Clazzio discount. Otherwise they were about the same. But I should shop around and try to get quotes and discounts. Oh sure I can see why folks like Clazzio, for sure. It is a combination for me, I run hot and have never sat on a leather couch where I didnt get sweaty knees. Clazzio looks fantastic I admit, but unfortunately not for me. Wet Okole seemed stupid expensive for what they were and probably also raise the seat more than I want. So I am stuck with super thin so I dont hit the sunroof. That leaves the polycotton drill coverkings and maybe these from Caltrend.
The carhart ones just seem too rough. I need protection from kids messes and feet, etc. And yes, I am likely one day to spill coffee.

any advice on thinner covers that dont look completely like crap.
    thanks for your advice

Not from me. I'm still running without covers and spent the money WOs demand for a used camper shell instead, which fixed my biggest issue of getting the damn dog and dog hair out of my cab.

Not sure what/who is making stuff for 2016s now, but have you tried searching in the second gen forum? Lot more info in there if you don't need something specific to the 2016. You should be able to find threads on this model of seat cover there.

@Swank sells a ton of CalTrend seat covers, he might be a good guy to ask about thickness also.
