Salesman texted me on Monday telling me my truck (Off-road, auto, dual cab short-bed w/ towing package) is complete and should be at the dealership in a few weeks. Has anyone who is just now getting their trucks having common issues seen on the ones that were built early in the year/late last year? I'm going to have them to over the list just to make are. But wondering if I should be excepting any of these issues when I receive my truck. Excited nonetheless to finally get my rig! Thanks to anyone who can give me an opinion and for all the help you guys have been posting here so far.

My truck is exactly as the one you have ordered. It was made the second week of March in San Antonio. I do have a vibration when braking but that is my only complaint. Hope that yours will be perfect!!:fingerscrossed::thumbsup:

I have the exact same truck as yours. Built 2nd week of April in Baja.

So far, no hood vibrating, no control arm howl, and no electrical issues (entune, bsm). My tranny shifts pretty well, and I get decent gas mileage.

    My only issues.

    1. Steering wheel vibrations , not nearly as bad as what the people in the other thread has tho. I can live with this.

    2. Vibration when braking thru 20-25mph (very disappointing) .

    Good luck man!

I think the vibration while braking at 20-25 mph was also a problem with 2nd gens, but they were just so noisy and rattly that you didn't notice as much ... but with the quiet solid 3rd gen these things are more noticeable ;)

Built sometime in March in San Antonio. I have noticed a very slight vibration when braking, but it was very slight and only a couple of times. It does lack power for a V6 unless you step on it, but I'm fine with just letting it do its thing.
Overall, I absolutely love the truck and am so glad I bought it. Everyone who has seen it compliments me on it.

Mine was built December 10th and it did the trip mileage reset once. No other issues

Not sure when mine was built but purchased mid January and I haven't had a single issue mentioned on the boards with the exception of the entune sporadically (but rarely) giving me the option to read incoming texts. I constantly average 22-23 miles per gallon. Already at 4K+ miles now. Guess I'm a lucky one.

I'd guess 3 quarts over the nominal level...

Baja 12/15 build; TRD Sport. Only issue is in a crosswind at speed (65 - 70mph) from passenger side to drivers side creates a noise. Chalk it up to charm and color and part of trucks personality. Great gas milage if I don't drive like a chimpanzee; drive 100 miles a day back and forth to work. Normally average 23 per tank full and when behaving 28mpg at 55 to 60 mph; best is 30.5 mpg for 28 mile stretch. shifts great. 8.9k miles. Wish it were a stick.

Oh yeah, my truck makes a honking sound at the driver mirror when a very strong wind goes from passenger to driver when I'm doing 60mph.

    It's happened twice and I don't give a shit

Still think I'll go over a few of the top issues with the service department before I receive my truck, after I take it on a pretty lengthy test drive. Truck should land at the dealership on the 6th of May. Updates to come.
