I just went into my garage and heard the fuel pump running on my 2013 Tacoma. It stopped once I cycled the ignition key and started the engine. After shutdown it did not continue to run. It hadn't been running an hour before when I was passing through the garage.

Anyone heard of this problem before? It's parked outside now, just in case. Would it be possible for the pump to overheat and burn up the truck? worst case scenario.

    Any thoughts welcome.

I'm fairly certain when I did the fog light anytime mod, I had tied it through the fuel pump fuse. If I forget my switch pushed in and turn my truck off every few hours for a couple minutes my fogs will turn on because the fuel pump kicks on.
Why this happens, no idea, but everything is still working fine.
