Thinking of selling my 2015 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab with the SR package, 2.7 liter four-cylinder, four wheel drive, and five-speed manual transmission. Currently has 22,500 miles, mostly highway and is still under warranty until September 2017 or 36,000 miles. Passed the Maryland state inspection at Fitzgerald Toyota in December (moved from out of state), so it will easily pass again since nothing has changed. Towed with it half a dozen times (small uhaul trailers) and it did far better than I would have thought. Truck is great and will probably last forever, just decided that a 4runner or double cab Tacoma would suit us a little better (and hopefully last forever as well). Trying to decide if it's worth selling private party vs. the convenience of a simple trade-in and not terribly motivated to sell at all, but looking to see if there's interest. Adult owned and no children.

    Since it was purchased:

    • Swapped the stock wiper stalk (which only had off/slow/fast) with a factory intermittent wiper stalk (off, various intermittent speeds, slow, fast). Part number 84652-02710.
    • Added the OEM backup camera (truck was prewired, and took about 15 minutes to install). Part number 86790-04020.
    • Swapped out the OEM tires for a set of Firestone Destination A/T, now with about 15,000 miles on them; installed and road-force balanced by a Toyota dealership.
    • Hitch + wiring harness (Curt part numbers 13323 and 55513).
    • No-drill front license plate bracket (slybrackets.com) installed when I moved to MD. No holes are drilled in the bumper.

Body and interior are in fantastic condition:

    • Very light 2" x 0.5" white blemish on a corner of the rear bumper. It was brushed in a parking lot by a Prius. You can just barely feel the blemish with your fingernail, but it doesn't seem to be through the clear coat. I haven't tried to correct it, but I have a suspicion someone with the equipment and skill could make it disappear.
    • Bed has the usual surface scratches in the plastic, but pretty minor.
    • Small 0.5" x 0.5" dent on the top of the tailgate similar to a door ding -- the kind you as an owner will notice, but you have to point it out to most people to see. Fairly certain a paintless dent removal person could take care of it.
    • A few normal rock chips on the front fascia.
    • Washed regularly, either touch-free car wash (during the winter) or by hand and foam cannon during the summer.
    • Waxed every 6 months with Collinite Insulator Wax.
    • Driver side floor mat shows a little bit of wear, but probably nothing unusual.

Zero mechanical issues since it was purchased and all maintenance is current with full records. Not one repair needed since purchase, and essentially zero creaks or rattles inside.

    • Oil changes every 5,000 miles (Mobil 1 5w30 and 90915-YZZD3 filter)
    • Transmission oil changed at 6,400 miles (Redline MT-90)
    • Front and rear differential and transfer case fluids changed at 15,000 miles (Amsoil 75w90)
    • Yes, I used a torque wrench on drain/fill plugs.

Going to start at $25,500 obo. Any less and it probably makes more sense to trade it in (and get a tax credit for the trade-in value). Located near Gaithersburg, MD. I'll add more pictures if there is genuine interest.

    Thank you!

Wow, that's a $1,000 more than I bought my new 16' for and it is the exact same down to the color. I like mine so much I'm almost ready to order a TRD OffRoad version of the same truck.

Good looking truck! Did you end up getting something else yet?
