Does anyone leave their bed cleats installed all the time?
Are these an easy theft item, or is not really an issue?

It's easy to steal. Mine are off and stored under the seats.

Mine come off as well and they are stored under the seats. Really doesn't take too long ... better safe than sorry!

Have had mine on for 4 months, Had the ones on my Tundra for 7 years before that. Never even considered that someone might steal them.

Y'all must live in crappy places. Just kidding. Kind of.

Only Tacoma/Tundra owners would recognize their value. And you know how seedy that crowd is.

I have one mounted in the center of the front rail for bike tie downs. But I have a tonneau that keeps things at least out of walk by viewing, unless of course I'm toting stuff around.

if they got stolen I would know that the people in my apartment complex took them. then I would go around and find which person took my stuff and then take it back what I lost

Between the shovel ,flashlight, fire extinguisher, ax, first aid kit, vodoo cargo basket, and hi lift. i don't have any room for the tie down cleats, except two.

Never took them off of my gen 2 when the bed was open, and never had an issue.

Never. I don't trust people a bit. I bought a $3 3-pack of nylon camping bags. One for my cleats (6), one for my ratchets, one for my bed net/spiderweb.

TRD Pro skid, TRD Pro Wheels , TRD Pro Grill, Factory Mud Guards, Factory Bed Mat, Exhaust Tip, N-Fab Nerf bars, Pop-N-Lock Tailgate Lock, MicTuning 32" Lightbar.
Tri-fold tonneau cover and "Pop-N-Lock" actuator wired on tail gate solves this issue unless they use a pry bar!hth
