A friend (red tundra) and I ( grey sr5) were in Wharton State Park, nj earlier today when we happened upon a guy in a 16 TRD OR riding with Jeep. They asked if we had any tools which we did. We followed them to the biggest hole on that trail to find their friend hydro locked. The friend was driving a rav4 he just bought for 800 bucks. And he took it through this hole. And he made it. Sort of. Apparently the rav4 sacked up some awesome amount of water and stalled after the hole. Anyway, I loaned them my socket set and a can of ether, they pulled the plugs, worked a lot of the water out, but that was all i could do, so then we went on our way. Theses guys (and 1 woman) were from NNJ and I never got their names. The 16 TRD owner said he used this site so I thought I'd reach out and see if they got the rav4 to start? Nice group. Hope you made it out. Awesome story too. They supposedly have video of it and would love to see it.
