I've been on here for a few months now since we bought our '16 TRD Sport and I have to say this is the probably the worst moderated forum I've ever been on. There are threads started continuously about the same issues, threads stray far from topic all the time and there are a ton of trolls that start dumb ass threads then are never heard from again. I've been on a lot of forums and I'm on the 4Runner forum quite a bit and they've all been kept pretty well in check, this one however is far from that. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of good information and I enjoy most of it but all the bs stuff is killing me.

Welcome to TW, BS is what we do on TW, if you can't handle it then it is probably best that you just leave.

And don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

well let's see... Lisa is in Montana... Chris is in Mexico or something close... Sean is bigger than me so I'm not saying nothing about him... Fordrunner might be on a boat somewhere or Virginia... Bob and the rest of the "retired" mods are on the island.

They do a good job considering it is a private forum with over 100k members. But with hundreds of threads and thousands of daily post, it is a tough job. They step in and take care of the important stuff pretty quick, especially when other members tag them asking them to take a look. Don't be so harsh, it can be frustrating with constant repetitive post but at least the forum is active. I surf lots of forums that might as well not exist. No activity, no answers, nothing. You come here and youre damn sure youll get the answer.

It's one of the good things,,, TW is not "OVER" moderated, the mods run a loose ship here (which is a good thing) but step out of line and they swoop in and will smack your peepee in a heartbeat.

TW is a pretty big place and we can't be everywhere all of the time. We rely largely on the general population alerting us to those that want to rock the boat. Follow the rules, everyone is happy. Break the rules and we'll know sooner or later. See something you don't like, something that violates the CoC? hit the report button and we'll step in.
TW is an awesome place and the folks here will be your greatest friends or your worst enemy. Got tape worms? We can help. Got girlfriend/boyfriend issues? We can handle that too. Oh, and your truck has a P0141 code? We got that covered.
We might take many detours along the way but in the end we usually get everyone the answers they need, truck or otherwise.

    Well, I'm a mod here along with a few regulars @chris4x4 @MTgirl @sean266 @Brunes @csuviper @tcBob @JimBeam

What are you looking for? We generally take a passive approach to how the forum is run and let the members guide the site. As long as no one violates the code of conduct we feel the members are welcome to post what the like.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Funny how it's only the 2016 owners who get a sore bum around here... It was nice to have you around OP, enjoy the other forums you frequent!

Unless, of course, you ask about certain places that shan't be named again, regardless of of how much time you spent there.

There are still insta-vacation things that aren't discussed openly. You just might not hear about them in general.

FWIW I belong to a couple of T4R forums too but I keep coming back to TW because the folks around here are so easy going and its just generally just a cool site to hang out on. Stick around a while, you'll see.

Take it with a grain of salt, we all do. New truck, new members and new problems issues. Doesn't mean they are any less justified in posting what they do and as long standing members we should be providing information them with the right information and the less negative responses. With a few exceptions to the rule of course.
