If you look back in this thread, I support your first statement. If the guy didn't have the ingenuity to find directions for an install, he had no business doing the install in the first place.

I do not feel a company should kiss ass. But now your "He did it first attitude" is only exacerbating the negative image that I have of Toytec. You have to be better than some dumb ass that gets on here and bashes the company. You could have handled it much better by being the "bigger man" and giving him the info he wanted, apologized and moved on. That would have been professional and I probably would have posted what a stand up company you are.

Your "in general" comments are irrelevant. This is a specific situation.

If keeping 15% is the difference between you getting paid to do your job or not, the company is on the brink of going under anyway. I'd suggest you pursue more stable employment. Sometimes a company must absorb small losses to keep customer service "top notch".

If you'd like to keep going round and round, I'm game. I enjoy the banter. Just be forewarned, the company you represent has MUCH more at stake than I do.

if the OP would have either PMed me, I would have been more than happy to help him find the info he wanted, did he PM me ? NOPE ..
If the OP would have probley called the company, Im sure he could have got the info he wanted, did he do that ? well from the thread, I dont think he did...
Id like you to find one business in the off-road world, that doesnt, charge a restocking fee, if you know of one, let us know..

In the end arguing on the net is, well we all know lol...
I have no beef with anyone here, everyone has a bad day from time to time, maybe the OP was having a chitty day, who knows, maybe the guy the OP was PMing was having a bad day, whatever the case, IMHO its over, lets move on and go wheeling, after all its the weekend

Purchased the OME complete lift from Toytec and the customer service was fantastic. They don't have to give us a discount just for being a member on a forum ,but they do. That speaks volumes about their customer service and their company. I stand by Toytec 100% on this situation because they fulfilled their duties as a distributor.

As for the few who claim they will no longer or will not do business with Toytec is absurd. When someone attacks your family (in this case their business family) how many of you sit there and take it. You aren't dealing with robots, these are people that have nerves like you and I. Personally, I think they professionally zinged the OP. Not once did they feel the need to resort to vulgarity as did OP.

Bottom line, I feel Toytec Lifts is an excellent vendor and I think several other members will attest to this.

You seem to be continually missing my point.

I never defended the OP. In fact, I said he needed to hire someone to do his install. If he does not possess the talent to track down directions, he does not posses the talent to do an installation.

While I mentioned grief about the return policy, I also stated business is business and that I would have still purchased from Toytec in the future.

My ENTIRE beef stems from the appalling comments made on behalf of Toytec Lifts by Mr."Toytec Lifts". Sinking to the OP's level is horrid business practice. That behavior will get the company nowhere. Not with me anyway.

Yes, it is the weekend. I'm heading for the hills.

what I gather from the 1st and 2nd post from the op he has been in contact with toytec for a week without response to his question. In my opinion thats where the issue lies. I am getting ready to buy a taco soon and after this thread I know I will be looking elsewhere for my suspension needs.

I did. :D That way I was able to give an informed opinion of the situation and not look like too much of an idiot blurting out.
