Melbourne has a recycler that takes just about everything. Right by the country dump on Sarno. Might be a bit far, depending on where you have CFL stopping.

There's a place off 419 in winter springs. Not sure if they take steel but worth a shot.

ECGS removal and install tools - Anyone have these tools they are willing to lend out? I realize that other tools will work, but I'm not in the mood to booger together several rental tools (always requires driving all over Jacksonville to find).

    I'm located in Jacksonville.

Sure, that would be great. At a minimum, I'll go look at the tools and see if I think they are going to be sufficient.

Slide hammer kit with various puller attachments, pilot bearing puller( attaches to the slide hammer, looks similar to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...d_t=201&pf_rd_p=1944687602&pf_rd_i=B000X282DM), bearing race driver set( looks similar to http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/400700015930?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true). I think that was all i needed to rent. The pilot puller attached to teh slide hammer got the old bearing out. The bearing race driver got the new bushing in. I used a big ass pry bar to get the CV out. If youve had the problem for a while, and have lots of play in your CV you may want to pick up a new CV axle just in case you get the old one out and its been worn down by the excessive play. Would be a bitch to get it taken apart, put back together and have a leak due to a worn axle. Can always return it if you dont need it.

Thanks for the parts links. I had the axle out a few months ago to replace a leaking diff seal. The axle looked good then, so I expect it will still be ok. Kinda pissed that I didn't notice this bearing situation when everything was pulled apart. I'm REALLY (not) looking forward to the cable-hammer-prybar combo I used to get the axle out last time. I'll just start medicating earlier in the day this go round.

Yeah, I tried the single jaw/pipe strap on the slide hammer to get cv out, didnt work for me. I just used a big pry bar, caught the CV near the diff and it came out fairly easily.

Finally got around to installing @xweslingx s old AP leaf packs and 10" billies. Also installed a toytec u bolt flip. Just need to get bumps and install the shackle flip and and extended brake lines. 83cbfe77b969851b3c3b1b3eeb3260b2_320b7a13f0ca120e29c24ee6c5585c0528afdb10.jpgadf17db08629065d42d1ea33803b3468_091998d891bac1328f440e05897000df92b69d2c.jpg

Exactly, that's what I did to K9's at the mod day we had a couple years ago.
