Guys hoping for a little help here. I have a 2016 TRDOR 4x4 with about 4100 miles on it. I got the truck with about 900 miles on it.

I've noticed a lot of engine knock and decided to try some 93 gas in it. Which helped a TON but I don't want to be using expensive gas all the time. Any suggestions? Also every time I hit the accelerator there is a very slight delay and then a "puffing" sound. I had a 2010 TRDOR and never heard that sound.

If these topics have been covered I'm sorry for the abuse! If not please point me in the right direction.

first time I have heard of this....maybe water in the tank perhaps? Are you using top tier stations?

Sounds like you got some bad gas.

I've heard that if you use "beano" it will reduce the bad gas situation....

Another vote here for bad fuel...shouldn't need to run anything higher than what the manual states.

edit: unless you force more air into that bad boy, then you gotta run premium
