    Coming soon
In the market to purchase a lift for my new taco along with some wheels and tires, probably 32's or 33's. Was leaning towards Toytec but just want to see what has been working good and bad for everyone else. Thanks.

Honestly, this is covered in depth with a number of options and price points.
Find the Suspension section, read the thread about lifting a 3rd gen by ToyTec, figure out what you need and what you want, what you're willing to pay - then ask for help whittling down a list of possibles you've decided on.

You're spending money modifying a brand new truck, take hold of your own reins and read a LOT. Then read some more.

There is about 10 miles of difference between a 1" lift and a 4" lift, using that as a reference for advice shows that you don't have any real idea of what you're wanting to get into.

Put some leg work in, then come ask questions.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
4" is a small lift? :goingcrazy:

Start off cheap and move up later on. It sounds like you may not need anything more than a level kit.

Pro Comp Nitro leveling kit. Roughly $300

I am currently running that... 3" front 1" rear with TRD Pro 4Runner wheels wrapped in 285/70/17 with no rub.

Total install with wheels and level kit was roughly $1900

    3" spacer? Dude.

We need to find out his budget and what kind of wheeling (if any) this guy does before any recommendations are made. Notice I didn't direct him to an Icon stage 5 just because I have it.

Mine is a company vehicle. I get a new truck every 2 years so the spacer works for me. Its just to give the truck a nicer look. I may move on from my current company and if I do, I plan on purchasing a 4x4 Sport and going with Fox suspension but in my current situation I need something thats easy to move to the next vehicle so no heavy mods for me.

OP - ignore everything and go read.

If you want to fit 33s you'll need to trim things, figure out if you're willing to do that. There's a lot of money spent on a 4" compared to a 1" lift, too.. so you really need to commit to a lift height you want, what your expectations are for your uses, and what you're willing to spend to get there - keeping in mind proper sized tires and aftermarket wheels (if you want them) could be another $1500 on top of the lift cost.

Come back in a week and we can hash it out with reasonable thought instead of shooting darts out of our collective asses.

That would be a pretty sorry lift if he's going for 4 inches and doesn't wheel.

    Just saying.

    Who needs down travel anyway.
