I've looked in the "what have you done lately " thread and in the garage but couldn't find everything I was looking for. I think Ive decided on llumar ceramic but not on percent. I have a 06 mazda that was already tinted and it's a little bit dark at night. Not sure what it is. Wondering what everyone is getting and what they're paying. Thanks alot. Get my truck as early as the 5th! DC OR 4X4 quicksand! !

I just did the 20% ceramic - front only, matches perfectly with the factory rear color/appearance. It ran me $100 at a local shop.

I see you're in Alabama, just the wrong team! I'm in Birmingham. Where'd you go? My first quote was from tintpro. Said ceramic film on front 2 with ceramic on back 2, rear, and front. $450. Seems like a lot, but I know nothing about tint. Thanks.

A place here in Mobile called Access Sun Control. They did a great job and I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. Came with a 5 year warranty against peeling or fading. Originally quoted me $120 for front only with ceramic or $60 with a cheaper tint but another place here offered $100 for ceramic and Access priced matched it.

I paid 600 for ceramic on my impreza when i had it... but a part of that cost was moonroof and those little fucking windows where the a pillar and c pillar meet the body. so its technically 4 pieces of tint per side of the vehicle.

Tint, Bed mat, door sill protectors, others pending.
I paid 500 for CPX (not sure what it means) that had the highest heat and uv protection. I did 18%on the front 25% on the back doors and back glass, and 70% on the windshield. It has been in the high 80's the past couple days, and the inside of my truck has been comfortable every time I have gotten in.

Edit: It matches very well imo.

I agree, that`s highway robbery, I got my front tinted for 80 by a local shop that`s been tinting every vehicle of mine and my wifes for 25 years.

20% rear windows and windshield visor, 35% on the front side windows, per my state's laws on tint. And I think the law is perfectly founded because my visibility at night, especially in poor weather, would be too poor with anything darker to be considered safe. Limo tint only makes sense for the visibility trade off in a fair weather super hot state like AZ imo. Ha
