I want to get the TRD pro 17x7 wheels but my question is will the size 2857017 tire stick out more from the fender wheel? I'm trying to go for that look with a 2" lift.

I've got 265/70/17's on mine and they are right at the edge of the fender. (No Flares)
The 285's might be just a hair out but not much.

Nope, the highest/ recommended you can go on a 17x7 is 275. If you like the style of the rims check out the "fn fx pro" they are 17x8 and have better specs imo

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a somewhat related question. I just ordered a set of the TRD Pro wheels and once they arrive, I'll be taking them in to get KO2's installed. I'm going with 265/70/17's. My question: Should I also upgrade the spare tire to the same size, or will driving with one tire smaller be a big deal? Affect driving significantly? Thanks!

It would be fine in a pinch, BUT it'd be better if you got a spare too. I plan on picking up a used AT for my spare. Just something cheap that's the same size to work better offroad than the stock one.

You need to have the same size tires in the rear. So if you pop a rear tire, move one of the front ones back and the smaller tire in the front.

Also, to the OP, 285s will require trimming. Especially on a 2" lift and if you want to wheel the truck. Just an FYI.

Anyone find black lugs that work with the pro wheels?
