I have a 2010 Tacoma with optional aluminum wheels. They have a few chips and marks I would like to cover. I am leaning toward repainting the wheels myself. Who knows which cleaner is best, which primer is best, the brightest silver paint and toughest clear coat. Which is the best vendor to buy the supplies from? Any tips" Best demonstration video?? Does anyone know about what it would cost to have the wheels chromed?
Thanks for any and all help.

    Chroming is super expensive.

    Have you considered powdercoating instead?

Pro tip: Les Schwab does basic color powdercoating for $25 a wheel out here, but turnaround is a few weeks.
