Very nice, thx for the pics, makes it allot more clean without that, I just wonder if the decal on the hood will come off that easy lol

Probably so - I'm sure it's the same material.

Don't sweat it. There won't be much residue if any at all and if there is, you can literally roll it off with your finger. Did the same with mine with no problems.

    Thanks for the DIY pics.

My next step is to peel off the "3M Paint Protect Wrap" on front of hood, both fenders and mirrors.

I want this useless "mop & glow" off ... so the paint patina will match ... and eliminate"glue dirt lines" now too.

I guess ... wait until a hot day (with sun on it) and hairdryer and peel it off slowly from a corner ... ... Has anybody done this yet ???

    Me in the driver seat.
I bought an ELM 327 and the Carista app. ELM =$14.51, Carista app=$19.99, getting rid of that awful seatbelt reminder = priceless.

Those are not as easy as the vinyl, but still not too tough. Use pretty much the same technique as the vinyl; use your thumbnail to start rolling up a lip on one of the sides until you can start to pull it off as 1 piece. Then just pull with steady but slow pressure so it doesn't rip. There was a little more adhesive left after taking this off but the Turtle Wax took care of it without any trouble.

Is anyone else hearing a noise (Access Cab) right up by where the front door and back door come together??
After weeks of what I thought was a loose window, I finally had the window down while driving today and there was a noise, still, just above my left ear. I can't seem to pinpoint it. It's sort of like a rattle, but more of a rubbing rattle than a loose part rattle. Anyone who's experienced this will know what I mean. It's almost like a rubber seal isn't quite tight or something.

I have this, too. I've just been turning the radio up or ignoring it. Ignorance is bliss  And no other issues with my truck so far! :fingerscrossed:

Your kinda scarring me with the "protect wrap" removal. Is it even clear plastic over paint? Let us know how you make out.

I removed the bumper to install the customized headlights. It just so happened that the photo also showed a unique perspective of the tires jeffereywanderson9 is interested in.

As far as I know they're only available in -6 offset (4.75 backspacing). You'll also need lug centric nuts and hub centric rings to keep things balanced.

The tires are actually 265/70/17 but they fill the wheel wells nicely in my opinion. The cost, performance and mileage penalty for 285s wasn't worth it for me.

I only had rubbing on the air dam. Hope that helps.

Check the seat belt mechanism that makes it go up/down. I had to shim a small piece of rubber weather strip between the mechanism and the trim.

I think I'm going to do some 5100s in the front and set them at .85 with the stock springs to level it out.
