    Since I've ordered a dclb and have been looking at them more the short beds looks so disproportionate.

    I agree. The long, long front end of the 2016's means that the short beds looks even smaller than they actually are in comparison. This is an exaggeration, but to me this is the vibe I get from the DCSB's.

    1722.25 + 5329 = sq rt 7051 = 83.97. almost exactly 7 feet.

    I found bed width at 41.5 from the brochure but I'm not sure if that is between wheel wells or not.

    That's between the wheel wells because a 4x8 sheet of plywood fits in the bed, above the wheel wells.
