Rear suspension set up question...

So I am going to be replacing my rear suspension set up...I currently have the stock bill'y with an add a leaf in my stock pack, with a 1" block....
I will be purchasing the Fox 2.0 w/ resi's (non adjustable cdc) with the dakar leaf pack

Question is: How do I know which length option of shock to go with for the Fox's?
The shock options are for a 2"-3" lift and or a 3.5"-5"

*I would like to keep the 1" block to keep it level or slightly higher than the front
* Up front I've got the OME with 886 springs and a top plate spacer giving me about 3.75" of lift

 

Dakars are approx 3 inches, plus your 1 inch block..


So not the shocks meant for 3" of lift. Right?

 

Get the ones 3.5-5" of lift. Fox rear shocks run small so even the ones meant for 2-3" really doesn't give you much down travel

 

That's the hard tech part trying to figure this stuff out...I don't want the shocks to be too stretched out... if they are too long then won't they bottom out like a mofo?

 

They have things called bump stops.

 

Yes but look at the extended/compressed measurements. You want about a 26"-28" extended length

 

Hahaa yes but was just worried about the shock itself over-stretching.
Def will be upgrading the bump bumps tho fa sho
