I'd say that you won't be able to clear those. That tire is over 2" bigger than stock and you're only increasing the front by .85

Gotcha. I'm getting a 2016 but will get 17 inch wheels to fit the tire.

Would think so as well, but with my 2nd gen with 5100s set at 2.5 and 255/75/17 sitting next to my friends 3rd gen with no lift there's only and inch difference or so. So with the 5100s at .85 for a 3rd gen i figure it to be pretty close to my current set up. My understanding is that 3rd gens are a little over in inch taller than 2nd gens all stock.

have you thought about keeping your 2nd gen wheels and tires to run on your 3rd gen?

not like you wouldn't be able to get your hands on a cheap set of 3rd gen wheels in a couple years if you decide to switch it back...

actually picked up a set of 09 trd sport 17s so i could keep the current set...just not sure about magnetic grey tx editions with the quicksand color combo....powder coat, dip, paint, all have crossed my mind. Lazy and wondering if the 255/85 would give the same height/look/ride etc
