So annoying. I was hoping I got the right one. Because everything I read says to get the denso 234-9001
    Got on Amazon. here
    This style:

But this is the sensor I have up front.

Which looks like either a Bosch or delphi, comparing it to pics of the other ones on Rockauto:

I was hoping that this sensor could simply be unscrewed from the mounting plate, as i saw one on Rockauto that has that option, but this new one can not. It's all one piece..

So.. Is it possible that the previous owner had it modified to accept the different type? Or did some Toyota's come with these different brands? And what am I to do? Should I just get a brand that will fit? Or modify the exhaust to accept the correct denso one if that's what it calls for??? Annoying because I had a new exhaust installed and I assume they had to weld on that fitting to accept the sensor that's in there now. I feel like I should get it redone to accept the denso because all I've ever heard is "denso denso denso!!!".

Beginning to wonder if this is one of those transition things where they changed it in 2001. Found this Bosch sensor that has good reviews And some being from tacoma owners, as well as other early 2001 vehicles. Thinking itd just be easier to return and swap through Amazon for the Bosch. See what happens. If all else fails and my truck no likey, then delve deeper into this maybe?

Think its different between one cat and dual cat exhaust systems

I am betting some one changed that Does yours have the California Emission Package.

You can see the weld on the pipe

The Truck I am working on is a 2002 3.4 California Emissions it has the Denso type flanged sensor

    Have you checked Denso`s Website

No parts found on densos site. But I did find it on Bosch and it says that one I listed above is the one.. But yeah it was a dual cat Cali spec setup. It had the same sensor flanges on the stock exhaust. But I couldn't tell you if the stock exhaust looked like it was modified for that sensor or not. I had a whole new system installed so they just put the same fitting/flange on the new. The rear sensor does have the plate flange. Just the front is different.

Best of Luck I hope the two different brand sensors play well together.

Just an update. Bosch fit perfectly and no hiccups. Along with the denso O2 for the rear. Had a SIM in the rear before, and no cel after removal of that. Seems golden now after a week. See how my mileage turns out now.
