    Flow master,
hello guys I'm thinking of getting bigger tires for my dlb can 2001 with a 2.5" lift. I currently have 265-65-17 and they look kinda small. I would Ik to get a more meaty tire. I was looking at some 285-70-17 bf ko2
Does anybody have these with 2" lift, will they rub???any info. Would be greatly appreciated!! Here's a pic of my truck..I also have 2" spacersimage.jpg

They will rub for sure...I 275/70/17's should fit without rubbing...

Have you looked into 265/70r17 tires? 285/70 is a pretty big jump from 265. A 275 size tire may be your best bet

It depends on what you consider rubbing, if you just drive around the street and don't do any off-roading you'll probably be fine. I have OME 881's w/ 10mm spacers which equates to about 2.5-2.75" of lift in the front. Driving around the city it only ever rubs when turning sharply and going up a driveway, and I have a fairly aggressive tire (Hankook Dynapro MT). Off road is a completely different story...be prepared to trim.

You already took off the flares so that will help a bit, but to eliminate rubbing you'll want to cut the pinch weld as much as possible. Another thing to think about is to get a less aggressive AT, there's really no reason to run a mud terrain or aggressive AT (like the KO2) if you just drive around the street (unless you like wasting money on gas and expensive tires).

That all being said if you're set on the KO2's BFG makes them in a 275/70/17 (as mentioned above) that measures out to a 32.2 and would fit easily and is considerably cheaper than the 285s ($200 vs $270).

Considering its not a full size 33 and under 11.5" wide it should fit with trimming. One of most common sizes is 33x12.5"
