3.4 swap, s/c with 2.1 pulley and meth injection, dual cases, sas, 41 iroks, 63" chevy rears, 529's locked...
hey guys, i have a trade supecharged 3.4 in my 1990 pickup but my questions do not really pertain to my trucks age group so I'm posting here. i am running the 2.1 pulley and am seeing about 13psi. currently running methanol to make up the difference that is needed to run the supercharger. the reason i am posting is because i need to know what size injectors i need to run along with fuel pump. i want to run the full set of larger injectors and i will also be using a Haltech standalone ecu to be able to tune and monitor the truck.

any info would be greatly appreciated guys!

I don't have an answer for you, but do you have an AFR gauge to determine where your ratios are at now?

sorry for late response, school has me very busy! with stock injectors and the stock toyota pickup fuel pump and the largest methanol nozzle i can run my afrs start at 12.8 and quickly climb lol.

Have you looked into URD's 7th kit? As far as I can gather, it's basically a tuning solution that also sprays in a little extra fuel. I don't think you actually need that much more fuel even with those boost numbers, the biggest issue is detonation. The meth kit alone solves the detonation issue, from there you should only be dealing with high rpm lean out which the 7th will solve as well as give you the ability to adjust timing for a legitimate tune.

URD is fairly adamant about their 7th kit being superior to their 6 larger injector kit. I think the biggest thing is just the ease of the kit. If you're a little more savvy there's a whole world of piggy back and stand alone ECM options you can use to tune a set of new injectors but I imagine you'd still be spending the same money and be dealing with a lot more work.

I'm interested in how this ends up as I'm in a very similar circumstance and debating which upgrade I'm going to try next. Good luck man!
