Anyone have any luck getting them to replace a leaking shock? I just looked at there website and if I am reading it right they don't offer any type of warranty at all. My rear shocks are leaking pretty good just wondering if any had any luck with getting replacements.

i remember reading somewhere on here, they said it's normal for a 5100 rear shock to leak a little bit. not sure if they're just covering themselves.

Ya I remember reading that as well so I let it go but I just had it inspected and the guy said it is now leaking a lot and I should get it fixed. So now looking at getting new ones for the rear. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.

Pretty positive that was what Bilstein said regarding oil leaks and warranty.

IIRC, Bilstein doesn't just send you a new shock either. You send yours in for inspection and they'll either approve or deny the warranty based on testing and examining the shock and I don't think I've heard anyone say they had a successful claim.

    Oh, and you pay shipping.

It's cheaper and easier to buy a new shock, is basically the shared assumption.

Ya I just looked on Amazon I can get 2 new rear shocks for 133 bucks Or just the one for like for like 67. Might make sense to replace them both at the same time. then just worry about the fronts when I need too. Got them installed in May of 2012 so its been about 4 years.

I'd probably do them both too.

4 years is a pretty good run IMO.

Thanks for the info, will just replace both. Now I need to find a place that will do it. I did it my self last time but I have moved since and no longer have the tools needed.
