i know this isn't a ford forum but I wanted to see if I could get some insight here since I'm always here. My dad has a 2001 Ford F-250 4x4 super duty and uses it as a work truck. He wants to lower it so he can load and unload stuff in the bed easier. He mentioned to me that the 4x4 is higher than its 2 wheel drive cousin. Any idea if it's like a Tacoma with leafs in the back and shock/coil in front and what's the best bang for your buck way of lowering it?

Not lower as in slam to the ground but maybe down to the 4x2 height, few inches lower so it's easier to load and unload stuff into the bed.

well theres lots of options... depends how low you want to go...

    1. get a 2" lowering hanger,
    2. remove the over load spring
    3. remove rear blocks
    4. get a 3" lowering hanger

the front end you can get 5.4L leafs,

Nice, what do you think the best way would be so he wouldn't lose payload capability and still be able to tow and haul? I would think removing blocks and overload spring wouldn't do well for hauling and towing. He's a landscaper.
