    Sandz, I know huh!!! LOL!!! Nick doesn't want to do the way I want to do it right now, which is fine of course because it is HIS truck. But I did tell him that when he is ready, I will re-route the cable for him and re-terminate the connector. I showed him how I did it and how I was going to do it to his truck. Plus, eventually, plan on remounting the CB mount as well.

    Fits the theme of my truck, the college budget hahaha. Over the summer I'll do it right when I go do a bunch of other maintence. You won't have to worry about your antenna bouncing around tomorrow now :D . Wait what plan was their to remount the cb lol, I'm happy where it is. Doesnt bug me at all :thumbsup:

    Btw Nick... and anyone else for that matter... that Francis CB-24 Hot Rod antenna is NOT as rugged as the Firestik 4ft CB antenna, BUT it is very light weight and not as "top heavy" as the Firestik, which makes it a bit easier on the mount that it is on and/or even the CB lug/bolt!!! My Francis antenna, LOL, the one that you have on your truck at the moment, is my "go to" antenna and I am very happy that I found it at that truck stop that my family and I stopped at for refuel/rest. I LOVE that antenna and the SWR is very good as well!!! I KNOW you will like that antenna Nick!!! VERY NICE that it came a day early!!! :mudding:;):thumbsup::fistbump: I guess that Amazon van finally found your house, huh!!! LOL!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

You're probably right about the firestik, it'd be too heavy for that mount. Plus I'm happy with this light weight hot rod red antenna :cool:
