Start things off by saying I've talked to multiple mechanics and no one can figure this out this far.

    I have a 07 Tacoma, 4wd, 5 speed manual, turn dial 4wd.

The 4wd locks in and comes out perfectly as long as temperature is below 50 degrees. Anything over 50 degrees outside 4wd will not engage and indicator light will just flash until I turn switch back to 2wd.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked to see if there is voltage to the actuator when it doesn't go in?

No I have not, just getting going with this. Trying to figure out what the outside temperature has to do with it all. I'll get it checked ASAP
