I wonder how loud is this set of horns compare to the ones that come with my Tacoma?

All I want is a little louder set of horns. I'm clueless when it comes down to electrical work so what should I expect if I replace these with my stock horns? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. If it's not worth it than I'm not gona waste my time on it. Thanks again!

I says the dB rating on the bottom of the package.

Its simple plug and play for installation. At the most, it would be a simple connector change. The horn is already wired though a capacitor.

If you want something a little better quality than Harbor Freight, these have a good reputation:
    http://www.stebel-usa.com/

I installed one on a motorcycle and it was a huge improvement. Not quite plug & play, requires installation of a relay (at least on a MC) but the instructions are not hard to follow.

I am not a fan of those horns posted by the OP.

I have used hella super tones before in a few subarus I have owned, I know a few tacos are running them as well.

Are your stock horns that bad? I find my horn to be pretty good, and passengers actually have commented (I like using it, calms my nerves more than cursing and flipping the bird)

Could always do a set of real train horns compressor and all, could be a good excuse for dual purpose on board air tank

I went with the Hella Supertones in mine, replacing the stock set. Much louder, and a more distinct sound. It took some getting used to, but I like it.

Those PIAA Bass ones sound really nice. More aggressive than the toy-car sounding stock horn.
TBH the package the OP showed looks like it came from a bubble gum machine. Not sure if I'd get those.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Just run train horns and be done with it.

@SMKYTXN needs to hurry up and do his so that he can give everyone a write up.

I went to the auto wreckers and picked up a Chevy Truck horn and added it to the stock horns. One hell of a $10 upgrade.

I had an on-board air system in my 2006 DCSB and hooked up a Grover air horn to it. Truly an attention getter that saved my a$$ on a dozen occasions, even at freeway speeds. Kind of a pain to hook up and dial in along with the expense, but there's no substitute if you need/want something that will get people's attention RIGHT NOW. Just be judicious in it's use for real "emergencies" so as to avoid simply pissing someone off. If I used my horn, it was for a damn good reason. Still debating putting one on my 2013 DCLB. I may try the PIAA Superior Bass just for the simplicity until I get the time, funds and ambition to go with a full air setup again.
