Hey Mike 15; stick with it, it's fixable, so even if you change the bearing to a bushing yourself, it's not that big a deal. You have a good, known set up and there is no reason why it won't work perfectly. Don't cry "uncle" too soon! Good luck!!

Also, removing the lift won't necessarily fix the shitty bearing issue...

I just installed a OME 2 in lifts. Leaf Springs, shocks, coil overs. I did not replace UCA’s. I’m getting an alignment but, I have seen this a couple times. 2.5 caster, 0 camber, 0 toe
My question is why would you not want the alignment to be as close to possible as factory specs? Am I missing something?

That’s a good question. I guess it’s whether you want even tire wear, and a steering wheel that tracks the road properly. Some us like to drink hot beverages at high speed on the 401 while steering with one finger. If you don’t need any of those things, you can easily be creative, and even save some cash from having an alignment done in a high tech shop to factory specs by a trained technician. Probably a measuring tape would do the job. You could do it in the driveway. No sweat.

Because when you lift the truck your geometry is not at factory specs anymore. The technician will have to set new alignments to put everything back straight again. Plus, adding as much positive caster on the lower control arm will give you better steering and road manners.
