Finally broke down and got me a good welder. Been waiting for a while to upgrade the Harbor Freight junk I got. Just in time for summer.

Great choice! The new 211's are so small compared to the old ones!

Awesome, those new 211's came out a month after I got mine. Guess that's why I got a good deal on it.

Quick question, I'm welding on my sliders this weekend. The kit didn't come with gussets. Should I buy some gussets or will the sliders be fine without them?

One buys Gussets ?? They sell anything these days !!

It depends is anyone who rides in your Truck planning to gain weight ??

As an example on the Honey Moon my Bride topped the scale at a trim 115 pounds during the divorce she was over 300 I can`t prove it but I think my Lawyer charged by the pound .

Would you be putting gussets on for what ??

To keep them harder to pull off when going forward ??

Added strength for impacts crashing down on interesting shaped rocks .

Gussets need to be put where they are going to work for what your doing .

Yes they sell gussets, I would make them if I had the tools to do so. I'd put them where the tubes weld to the frame to provide extra strength when slamming on rocks. I'm not sure if it's worth it though.

You would put them on the Bottom of The Tube and the frame
