Finally got my skid plate mostly done. Had to redo a bit of it because it was to close to the radiator. Came out pretty sweet and I'm happy with my welds. Very enjoyable.

Now I just need to weld it out.

Looking good Troy. I'm digging the nearly flush look with the bumper. Looks super clean that way.

Thanks! Still working on the retro but TRS is currently out of stock with the stuff I need.

Thanks! I'm happy with how its turning out. Just need to gusset it a bit more!

What thickness are you using? Looks like it's 3/16th.

Is this going to be just the front part and end around the cross member?

Yep, 3/16th. Didn't want it to be to heavy...

Ends right after the steering rack, but eventually I would like to make it a 3 piece flat belly.

Yea, you're looking about 60ish lbs. I'm going to probably go all out and get the 1/4" Relentless Skid for my truck.

Looks good Troy! Like the flushness and the tucked rear bolts. May have to steal your idea :spy:

LOL. My 3/16" skid can't be installed or removed without a floor jack and it weighs almost 70 pounds
Thank you for the credit! :p
    You're welcome :)

Oh same, no way could I put it on without a floor jack. But every bit of extra weight counts I guess haha. I've taken it on and if about 10 times now to ensure fit up. Sucks haha

Troy, I'm super jelly and very angry (at my truck) that your brake upgrade went in so seemingly well. Day 3 of my work on this begins soon...

What's giving you trouble? I just ordered the kit last night.
