    Hey, danno2001! Did you use the parts from autorust? If so, how are they holding up for you? Got any pics?

    I've got a '97 with the typical frame rust issue - driver's side, from
    between the rear cab support and the bed's front left corner support; a rust hole is also
    just behind the leaf spring bracket (see pic). I'm thinking of doing both sides - got a buddy who is a master welder who will do the job for me if I sandblast/wirewheel the frame.

    I have special 3"x5" x 1/8" L bent works great i think I had a whole 4'x8' sheet bent for less then $100.00

    Just remember to drill a nice drain hole in front of the spring hanger

    Have your friend make his own pieces it will be much cheaper.

    Doing the prep work is 95% of the job!!
