anyone have any tips or tricks for freeing a hub assembly stuck to the spindle. All the bolts are loose and I've beat it with a hammer and tried to pry it off with a screwdriver (already broke two.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you removed the 4 bolts on the back of the hub?
I have a 2009 and I didn't have any issues replacing both of my hubs. Not sure what you're following but here is a how-to

    1. make sure your speed sensor is removed from the spindle..

    2. If you have a Oriliey's or Autozone they have a tool rental.. You can rent a hub puller. Just a big slide hammer. Go to town on it. Best trick is just to work around it side to side smacking the hell outta it.

3.. Drink a beer and call it dirty names....

After loosening the bolts you have to tap around it with a hammer and then keep loosening the bolts.

Changed mine last night. When you get the 4 hub bolts loose put something metal, I used metal shims, between the head of two of the bolts and the outside flange. Then as you unscrew the bolts it will pull the hub out of the spindle.
