Is ToyTec generally known as hard to get a hold of/ Poor communicating company? I would really like to buy a lift from them but cannot get anyone to return my phone calls or emails starting to think i should buy elsewhere.

Anyone else had this problem or am i just an asshole and nobody wants to talk to me....lol

Not sure how they are right now, but 3 years ago I got a lift from Toytec and didn't have an issue.

That's strange. I live local so I picked my lift up from Toytec but everyone at their shop was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

To be fair I only left a message once earlier this afternoon but I called 3 times today all going to voicemail as well as 1 call last Friday. But I emailed their sales department over a week ago via their website with no response. I've also sent a message on Facebook this past Saturday and Pm'd them on here today.

I think my efforts to contact them far exceed what anyone should do to contact a retail business.

I tried ordering up some parts from toytech the customer service was great, however I ended up ordering the same parts from headstrong because I ended up saving over $150 between parts and shipping.

Shok Industries 2/0 big 4 upgrade and sound deadener.
Communication/customer service I got 6 years ago was such that I immediately took my $1000+ lift purchase to Toyota of Dallas. I'd give them another shot, especially if I move back to Colorado and they're local but there are so many options on TW it behooves you to shop around anyway unless you want a Toytec specific item. YMMV

I experienced similar results when calling looking for shipment status. Seems like a very small outfit. I did finally reach someone but dont feel confident on information received at this point.

@ToyTec Lifts is usually very responsive and have had a great reputation around these forums. Either choice will suit you fine.

    Toyota's are awesome
Sorry for the issues everyone. We have had a busy week and a few people were out sick so we were down a few bodies on the phones. Best way to get in contact with us is either info@toyteclifts.com or support@toyteclifts.com. Those get answered the most rapidly.

Headstrong is great I decided to go through them plus FREE SHIPPING! Toytec lost out of a sale from me when I was trying to buy a lift 2 weeks ago and I sent them two emails and havent heard from them still using that email they just posted.

Stay with them- they are a small company and growing rapidly, maybe they had a couple people call in sick at the same time or something stupid like that. I got my Icon Stage 1 from them (I'm local) and their customer service was above and beyond, both before and after purchase.
