Well it all started with this truck, a 1997 T100 4x4 SR5 Ext. Cab with the 3.4 auto. Bought it with 102k on the clock and immediatly fell in love with the Japenese trucks. The body stayed very well maintained but the rust underneath was unserviceable. After a head gasket replacement, a rusted out gas tank, and questionable frame rust it was time to move on at 210k.CAM00139.jpg 20151219_130902.jpg
As a dumb 20 year old i decided to take a leap of faith and buy my dream car, a 2013 Subaru WRX, it was the most fun ive had on 4 wheels, and I do plan on buying a STI in the future when my financial situation allows for 2 vehicles
Anyways, I had the subaru for a while and it was incredibly fun, it lacked alot of utility that the T100 gave me ie. towing, hauling, offroading, ext

And last week i did it I bought a 2012 Tacoma Sr5 Ext. Cab. 4x4 with the 4.0 Auto with 28k on the clock. Wasn't sure about the pyrite mica color but it is growing on me, and for $24k the price was right. The subtle similarities from my old t100 and make me remember why I liked these trucks in the first place.20160430_143107.jpg

Pyrite Mica is one of the best colors ever offered by Toyota, IMO. It looks like a different shade of the same color in different lighting conditions. Great looking truck, welcome!
