Too spendy. And to be honest I don't think it looks as good. And I'd be afraid I'd never drive it. It's got great bones though.

It's a beaut. I've heard the Z3's are very tossable! In the Z4 I need to turn off a bunch of nannies before I can have any fun.

Just wanted to see what that looked like when taken out of context. :drevil:

YEA I need to tune the call, it didn't sound as sweet as it usually does. That can be a combination of things, moisture, type of chalk, grit of sandpaper or a scuff pad, they all can change the "sexy sound", I'll get it back to sweet talking again! :)
I shot a lot of birds using that call, but the one thing friction box calls don't like is moisture and it was damp and high humidity this morning. I noticed right away that it didn't produce the smooth shrill yelps and clucks that it usually does, NBD I've tuned it before.

    Morning all:
Just looked at the forecast, now it's rain everyday for the week! :(
WAS going to get the turkey, hit the river for shad, and have a clear path to the walleye opener on Sat., looks like that plan just went to crap! :annoyed:
I have a box call that is coated, and "SUPPOSED" to work in the rain, never tried it but looks like it's going to be put to use! It actually sounds pretty good, but may have to also have to revert to using a mouth call. Time to break out the rain gear!!! :(:(:(

Watched a good sized gobbler walk through our back yard, around to the front and up to our upper field this morning. :)

Some neighbors put feed out for the turkeys, a dozen or more in their yard sometimes. Other neighbors have a game trail to their yard turkeys use. I have to chase deer off a few times a week or more. At least I finally put protection up around maples I planted years ago to keep deer from pruning them every year. Has not froze here the last two mornings, will get some small tomato plants from the nursery to plant this coming week, my attempt this year at starting my own did not work well. I use the red Wall-O-Water clones to protect transplants, they are supposed to be better for peppers and maters.

Two weeks ago 3 guys brought in their turkey mouth calls. After about 3 hours it got annoying. One guy is very good. They wouldn't shut up. So I made a sling shot with a nut and shot one in the ass. I told him he was dead so shut up...
    It was funny.. Lol.

Know the feeling Duane, I planted some fruit trees and the deer either ate them or rubbed their antlers on them, which ended up killing them! :annoyed:
Good luck with them peppers and maters!

Looks lke my tick bite isn't turning into a indicator of Lyme Disease, no bulls eye and clearing up, still a slight bump and a divit in the middle. Have to take antibiotics for ten days, just in case.
Got five raised beds filled in the garden using some hastily made containers, ready to plant spuds and other root crops now. I need to make some pot shaped chicken wire or hardware cloth containers to plant tomatoes, peppers and vine crops in to keep gophers and moles at bay. Spring is a busy season for me. No back ache, but still have a follow up with the back cracker on Wed.
