I think he has the "whinnying" noise, which usually indicates the bearing in the pulley

Mine is gray, now black. But I bought the console off a TW member here and can barely see what color it is in my garage.

I tapped into the remote wires on the solenoid side and ran those to the cab with a power wire, it's worked great so far.

Did most of the debadging. The SR- 5s came off easy, the door emblems, left a lot of crap, I didnt finish the tailgate Toyota. It says TOYO, I should have removed the TO and left it YOTA.

I also removed the thin wire guards over the headlights. I think it looks better. Of course, Murphy will now sling a rock at one of the headlights this week, coming home from work.

I got some switches with wiring harnesses on eBay for cheap that are similar to the otrattw switches. I also installed a 12v cig plug with dual USB ports in the bed for my RTT. Super easy, here's what I got.
I can get some installed pics if you want.
Are you wandering about how to install them?

Thats a lot cheaper than what I was looking at. Hows it all holding up? Wouldnt mind some pictures if you dont mind. I have an idea how to install them. Just got a blue seas fuse box to clean up the wiring and want to move the switches I have since I cut up my center console for twin sticks and the crawl box. And want to have 2 cigarrett lighters in the bed, One attatched to the fuse box and one attatched to the battery in the bed. Just not sure how I want to do everything just yet but need to decide soon.

Sounds like you know what you're doing
I'll grab you some pics. I bent some thin metal and cut slots to make a bracket to mount it to the bed of the truck. Just painted and popped a couple rivets, looks clean. I added a switch in the bed to cut the power to it (it had led bristle lights that stay on) I didn't figure the switch in when I made the bracket so the switch looks like an after thought. You'll see what I mean when I post a pic so that's something you might keep in mind when you do your install. Also on those rocker switches, the LED in the switch stays on all the time. I'm sure there's a way to splice into a power wire that goes off when the key is removed but I didn't think of that at the time. So something else to think about.

One of the two switches I have wired in always has power and the other is tapped into a blank spot on the stock fuse box and only has power when the key is in it. Will probably add a switch for the bed but looking for switches that only have a light when flipped on. Thanks for the advice though, Itll slip my mind till I read these again.

I'll have to look into writing into the fuse box. Did you just add a fuse? Was it pretty simple?

It was several years ago but it was pretty simple from what I remember. Pretty sure we added a fuse. I will look whenever I start the wiring.
