Very close, the bomb threat was at the factory, I actually work about 2 miles away at the R&D facility.

So I've been doing some fine tuning on this thing. I found that if its cool out the boost creep is insane. I supposedly have a 7psi spring in the waste gate which is plumbed straight to the compressor housing, but it's currently making about 15psi! I might try pulling the gate completely off to see if the manifold design is the problem.

I still need to fix the power steering leak then I'm going to get it professionally dyno tuned.

Haha yeah I couldn't do that to it, I kinda want to buy a rusty beater e30 for rally cross though.

I will be running this thing in an autocross tomorrow so I'll try and get some video. Hopefully I don't put a new window in the block...

Well autocross went about as good as expected. Got two runs in before the car broke

Turns out the crank pulley bolts had worked themselves loose (I think I was supposed to locktite all the pulley bolts on this stupid engine lol). This caused it to throw both the power steering belt and the alternator/water pump belt off. I got a new alternator belt from vatozone and threw it on after tightening the bolts down again but ran out of time to run again.

I learned a couple things: this thing needs better brakes sooooo bad, this thing needs suspension sooooooo bad, and it also needs tires.

Yeah definitely. It's nice to have for those roadside welding repairs.

    Lol.

Also not sure if serious, it's not-sure-if-seriousception.

Those are ignition coil packs from a late '90's GM shitbox with a v6 so I could get rid of my distributor. These provide a stronger spark.

    Cool no problem.

It's a common mod on turbo distributor cars. It's called wasted spark.
