Dash lights / daytime

okay, I've looked all over the manual and this forum. Perhaps I've missed it but is there a setting so that the gauges are illuminated during daytime?

 

Turn the mileage reset button clockwise. That will brighten or dim the display in the middle.

 

Thanks but that's not what I'm talking about. I mean the gauges, tach, speedo

 

You want to brighten the daytime appearance of the speedo and tach..??

Not sure if I can help here......I did notice that you are in Florida.... did you try taking off your sunglasses..?? ... Just thinking..!

 

I know what he's talking about. The dash lights only come on with the headlights

 

Appears to have an option available in the Light Control section of the Techstream software.

i would kike the controls in the door to be lit during the day when truck is running.

 

I have been wondering the same thing. The dashboard is so dark during the day. I feel like I remember my old truck actually dimming the dash lights when I turned the headlights on. Meaning that they were brighter during the day, and a lot easier to to see.
