I envy that corner of yours. Since I have no interest in installing a winch or other high energy consuming device, I'm pretty happy with the smallness of the 34 battery. However, might put a 27 for primary when the Interstate chokes. Good luck with the rest of your project.

Anyone have recommendations on where to find switches that are a decent match to the OEM and doesn't cost a fortune? I need to fill these two blank spots for my isolator solenoid and accessory solenoid. I bought regular toggle switches, but they stick out too much and could possibly be hit by my knees. Need them to be low profile. Thanks.

Also Mictuning. They sell through Amazon; might have their own store. I got a light bar switch and dual-USB port. One of the USB ports was not functioning right and Mictuning sent me a replacement very quickly and did not want the original USB back. Switches average $12.

This is the Spectre (# 9751) 4" air duct I used to replace the OEM hose 'cause the 2nd battery is where the OEM duct went through. The Spectre fits right over the stock air box opening; it's a little bit larger but the thick rubber boot end is very pliable and a zip tie snugs it up good - I have a 4" hose clamp on order. The duct appears to be very good quality. It was $32 on Amazon.

How did you mount your aux battery there? Is it custom or from a vendor?

The actual LCD screen is an eBay special. Think it cost me 5 bucks. The switch is a SPDT momentary switch. It allows me to toggle between the two batteries. The red switch is for the Blue Sea ML-ACR. I made the panel.

Just installed a solar trickle charger with a duo battery controller. :woot::woot:

Any solar guru's can give me any insist on solar charging. I bought a 4.8watt solar panel. I getting about 22.0 volts for a charge. Is this good or bad is far is getting enough of a charge? Do I need more solar panels to get more of a charge for both batteries?
