Actual value of 2012 Sport?

I have a 2012 TRD Sport Access Cab, 4x4 with manual transmission. Color is MGM, truck has 75,000 miles on it; mostly highway miles as I commute a log ways to work. It has some minor dents and dings that come from being used as a truck but other than that it's very clean, has always been kept waxed and maintenance done on time.

I'm looking to put it up for sale so I can purchase a turd gen auto. I need an automatic as I'm finally getting tired of shifting gears, also, I do a lot of road trips and my girlfriend can't drive a manual to save her life so I'm always stuck driving.

A dealer offered me $20k for it on trade. What would be a fair asking price for my truck private party? I'm thinking $24k?

 

I would think your guess is about right. I purchased my 2011 DCSB Sport Auto 59k miles about a month ago for around 24 out the door. I'm not sure If the manual would add or detract value. Around here (Tacoma World) I'm sure it adds. I'm also in New York as that might influence price.
