Any chance that Magnuson might release their own supercharger kit?

So since the TRD Supercharger is discontinued, I'm wondering if that does anything for the value of the trucks that have it. Not looking to unload mine as I love it but just curious. 2012 TRD Sport 4WD DCSB.

You may be right, however, from what I understand, once the PCM is reflashed with the new software for the Supercharger, it cannot be undone which means that the seller would have to turn around and buy a new PCM after the Supercharger was removed and sold so that makes it almost not feasible.

 

Or just run the SC tune without the SC because they no longer own the truck and don't care, like I have to assume most do.

LC Engineering has the 4.0 Tacoma Supercharger kits on their website for pre-order purchase. It says that they will be available early March.....The BAD NEWS: $,6195.00.... GEEZ the Tundra SC stayed the same price but the Tacoma jumped up $2000.00!!!

@LC Engineering Is this price for real?? And to everyone that said just hold out for a few months, blah, blah, blah and the price still went up.

 

My guess is the deal they are trying to negotiate is wrt programming issues. I would guess they Mag will produce one and will either piggyback the computer or do some deal with programming the ecu. ...or there has been a drastic management shakeup in Japan if there is an upcoming TRD blower.

Wait. So magnuson bought the rights, produced the 3.4 at a lower price, and then sold the 4.0 out to be sold at a higher price? That blows.

 

Even if Magnuson does release a supercharger kit, what do you think they would charge for it?
