    Hey all,

New to the Taco world, just drove my new 2016 SR Utility Package home today. I'm stoked as all hell, but I was wondering if there was a good source for the parts diagrams? Been combing through the stickies and FAQs but must not have found it yet...

I've found some awesome online catalogs for Honda Powersports, Subarus, and Mazdas in the past, so I don't doubt there's probably a nice juicy one for Toyota out there somewhere.

My wish list on OEM parts right off the top of my head:
-An intermittent wiper stalk (think I already found a P/N for that)
    -Visors with mirrors!
-Cruise control switch (3rd gens can just swap in the switch like 2nd gens, I hope?)

Otherwise I was also intent on digging through diagrams to look at a few mad scientist projects I've got turning in my head like adding fog lights (I know there's a tutorial on that, but I want to go deeper!) and seeing if there's a way to hack in keyless entry on a utility package.

Looking forward to working on this truck a lot!

That's funny right there. Most folks buy a new truck so they won't have to work on it.

I'm an incurable tinkerer, what can I say...

I worked on the Subaru WRX I traded in for the Taco, I worked on the Volkswagen GTI I traded in for the WRX...
I'm also quite proud of the number I did on this tired old 1996 Madza Miata:

Anyways I'm not trying to pimp it or make it a lowrider or something wacky like that, just add in some creature comforts from various options packages that I couldn't spring for, at a much much cheaper cost.

I'm with the OP here... sad that we cannot find a website with these items available. I detest calling a dealer or setting foot into one to ask for parts. I'd rather buy them form a dealer with a website for ordering parts and get them shipped to my door.

Glad I'm not the only one!

For instance check this out: http://www.jimellismazdaparts.com/s...odel=14360&modelYear=1996&ukey_category=20232
Let's imagine I needed a coolant hose for my Miata. Zoom in and find it in that nice parts diagram, find the label, and now you have the OEM Part # and a general idea of how much a dealer will charge for it. You could order from this place too, but I just copy/paste the part numbers for my local dealer.

My Mazda dealer loves me for this. The parts counter guys know me on a first name basis- I order from their online site, walk in, and pick up the parts. I never get a wrong P/N, I never have to waste their time describing the "thingy on the top side of that other round thing by the intake" to them, and it's already paid on my account. To be fair I'm lucky it's a really top notch dealer to begin with, but this makes my work (and theirs) infinitely easier.
