Howzit guys. Just thought I'd share my new ride. Picked it up from Servco in Mapunapuna last week. Got her detailed after requesting it not be prepped at the dealership. Took this pic grabbing some accessories yesterday.

Thanks! That's one of the reasons I opted for the limited package. They come with 265/60R18s and hope to go up one to 275/65R18s when these wear out.

Yup, I insisted they don't touch it and let me prep it. My friend asked me more than once if I was sure. I said yes, I'll be able to remove the adhesive gummed edges with cleaner wax which is exactly what I did. I used own a detail business so I can't stand swirl marks. I also made sure the plate wasn't drilled in the bumper as well.

I like the look too. It's too bad Toyota cheaped out and that they are just covers.

Actually I don't mind that they are "clad". They aren't just covers, it's an entire piece that has been cemented permanently to an alloy wheel. In my opinion it's better than chroming the whole alloy wheel because the salt and brake dust will eventually cause the inside of the rim to pit and rust, this process is sped up by anyone using acid to clean the chrome wheels which is how most people clean them.
